Barbara A. Bailey – Age 96, died peacefully Monday, June 16 at her son’s home in Hudson, NH.
She was born in Medford, December 17, 1928, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Sadie (Coon) Cooke and was raised in Burlington and moved to the Nutting Lake area of Billerica in 1952 and most recently moved to Hudson, NH.
Barbara graduated from Burlington High School in 1946 and worked for Hewlett Packard in Waltham and later worked as an Office Manager for Baird in Bedford. She enjoyed working the polls in Billerica at the Ditson School.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce Bailey of Hudson, NH and Douglas Bailey of Tewksbury and is also survived by her eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Gary Bailey and Jeanne Daye and sister of the late Clifford and Norman Cooke and Ethel Hope.
Barbara’s arrangements will be private.
