Obituary for Barbara A. Aldrich
BILLERICA – Barbara A. (Burke) Aldrich, age 74, beloved wife of Gerard R. Aldrich died Sunday at their home with her family by her side.
She was born in Malden, Dec. 27, 1943 a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Cassello) Burke and lived in Burlington before moving to Billerica 46 years ago.
Mrs. Aldrich was a florist for the former Davis Flowers in Billerica and was the Office Manager for Kmart in Billerica for over 25 years. In her spare time she was an avid gardener and most enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son Gerard Aldrich Jr. and his fiancé Amie Lonchich of Billerica; two daughters Cherie Aldrich and her husband Lawrence Lemieux of Methuen and Diana Richard and her husband Brian of Attleboro; two brothers George Burke and his wife Terry and William Burke all of Billerica; two sisters Margaret Burke of Lowell and Carol Daly of Burlington as well as five grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late James H. Burke III
ALDRICH – Of Billerica, formerly of Burlington, May 20, Barbara A. (Burke) Aldrich. A Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday at St. Mary’s Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of Middlesex East, Gift Processing Center, 41 Mall Rd. Burlington, MA 01805
