Obituary for Barbara L. Tehan
Barbara L. Tehan – Age 78, beloved wife of 58 years to Joseph W. Tehan, died Friday at the Fairhaven Healthcare Center in Lowell.
She was born in Somerville, August 17, 1938, a daughter of the late James and Olive (Rogers) Blakely and was raised in Somerville, before moving to Medford and then Billerica in 1970.
Mrs. Tehan was employed as the Vice President of Commercial Lending at Century Bank and later worked as a Loan Officer at the Teamsters Credit Union prior to her retirement.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Tehan is survived by her daughter, Debra Danehy and her husband Alan of Billerica; her son, Jeffrey Tehan of Salem; her daughter-in-law, Donna Tehan of Salem; her sister, Muriel Williams of Medford and five grandchildren, Marc Tehan, Steven and Jessica Danehy and Courtney and Connor Tehan.

Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
