Obituary for Barbara L. Arey
Barbara L. Arey, age 88, died Saturday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington after a brief illness.
She was born in Boston, May 17, 1933, a daughter of the late Edward F. and Bertha (Deshler) Lyons and was a long time resident of Billerica.
Barbara was the Owner of the former Arey Country Day School in Billerica that she operated until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Candis Cameron and her husband John of Pittsburgh, PA and her three grandchildren Teresa Fec and her husband Steven and Jessica and Jeremy Cameron and two great grandchildren, Autumn Pogany and Logan Fec. She was the mother of the late Penelope Arey and sister of the late James and Edward Lyons.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd. Billerica. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 12 noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
