Arthur Eugene Correa, 81, of Billerica, MA, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he lived life with humor, warmth, and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures.
Whether it was a round of golf with friends, a fly fishing trip to Moosehead Lake where he never caught a fish, a Red Sox game enjoyed from his porch, or cultivating the perfect yard, Arthur embraced every moment.
He was a connoisseur of his favorite drinks—savoring a good glass of wine, a rum and Coke, the occasional mudslide, and never turning down an espresso martini. His stories, laughter, and hospitality made every gathering memorable.
More than anything, he loved being with his friends and family. Watching his grandkids play sports brought him immense joy, and he was their biggest fan on and off the field. He often reminisced about family road trips and camping trips with his children, and he especially cherished time spent with his close friend and brother-in-law Bob Saunders, with whom he shared many adventures, including trips to the U.S. Open and the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Arthur leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents Olivia and Arthur Correa of Lowell, MA, his sister-in-law Cathy Correa of Hampton, NH, and his sister Debbie Vess of San Diego, CA. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Florence McKenna Correa; his brother David Correa of Hampton, NH; his sister Karen Fowler and her husband David of San Diego, CA; his daughter Kimberly Correa of Lowell, MA; his son Arthur Correa and his wife Christine Janas Correa of Chelmsford, MA; his daughter Jennifer Machado and her husband Joseph E. Machado Jr of Lowell, MA.; and his daughter Victoria Isnor and her fiancé Marc Lombardo of Billerica, MA. He was especially proud of his grandchildren: Eric Correa, Catie Correa, Olivia Machado, Ava Machado, Madelyn Machado, Sofia Isnor, Ella Isnor, Guy Lombardo, and Gina Lombardo; and his many nieces and nephews.
