Obituary for Antonio D. Zarro
BILLERICA - Antonio D. Zarro, age 70, beloved husband of Margaret (Cerbone) Zarro died unexpectedly Wednesday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
He was born in Chianche, Avellino, Italy, July 9, 1939, a son of the late Salvatore and Carolina (Porcari) Zarro and lived in Everett prior to moving to Billerica in 1970.
Mr. Zarro served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, was a Motormen's Guard for the MBTA for 28 years retiring in 1996 and was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, John Zarro and his wife Jean Marie of Billerica; one daughter Carolann Scabin and her husband Frank of Billerica; three brothers, Pasquale Zarro of Malden, Giuseppe Zarro of Peabody and Nazzareno Zarro of Everett; one sister, Teresa Toneguzzo of Canada; and five grandchildren, Nicolas and Monica Scabin and Thomas, Lauren and Michael Zarro. He was also the brother of the late Giusepina Bagnarol.

Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
