Obituary for Anthony C. Giordano
Anthony C. Giordano, age 90, beloved husband of the late Carmella A. Giordano, died Sunday evening surrounded by his family.
Tony was born in Boston, November 3, 1930, son of the late Anthony and Anna Giordano, raised in Somerville and lived in Medford before moving to Billerica in 1962.
Tony "Papa" is survived by his son, Anthony Giordano Jr. and his wife, Cathy, his daughters, Linda Wiroll and her husband, Fred "Fritz", Paula Boucher and her husband, Steven and Sandy Giordano and her partner Donna Scott all of Billerica as well as his son-in-law David Masse of Merrimack, NH. Tony was the father of the late Paul Giordano. He is the loving grandfather to 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Giordano is also survived by his sister Rita Giordano and his brother Richard Giordano both of Woburn.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10am at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church in Billerica. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to Ascend Hospice, c/o Michelle Forsman-Mentzer, 100 Locke Drive, Marlborough MA 01752. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
