Obituary for Annie W. Guarino
BILLERICA – Annie W. (McAvoy) Guarino, age 89, wife of the late Ernest Guarino, died Monday at her home. She was born in Scotland, Sept. 29, 1924 a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Murray) McAvoy and was raised in Everett before moving to Billerica 55 years ago. Prior to her illness Mrs. Guarino was an active member of the First Parish Unitarian Church in Billerica. She is survived by two sons, Ernest Guarino Jr. of Lowell and Frederick Guarino of Billerica; three daughters, Margaret “Peggy” Guarino of Ashburnham, Diane Guarino of Chelmsford and Donna Guarino of Billerica; one sister, Elizabeth McAvoy of Everett. She was also the sister of the late John McAvoy. GUARINO – Of Billerica, formerly of Everett, Jan. 6, Annie W. (McAvoy) Guarino. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 1, at the First Parish Church, 7 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. It being her wish there will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn., 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472
