Obituary for Anne B. Sugden
Billerica – Anne B. Sugden – Age 94, wife of the late Harold J. Sugden died Friday at the Lowell General Hospital – Saints Campus.
She was born in Johnston, RI, November 10, 1922, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Iolanda (Carnavale) Marchetti and lived in Chelmsford before moving to Billerica in 1962.
Mrs. Sugden was a VA Nurse, a Civil Air Patrol Volunteer and a co-founder of the Billerica Drug Action Committee. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at the former St. John’s Hospital prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Sugden of Hampton, NH and Jeffrey Sugden and his wife Lee A. of Methuen; his daughters, Mary Elizabeth Sugden and her husband Richard Lescarbeau of Williamstown, Joan E. Sugden of Billerica, Anne F. Sugden Cohn and her husband Stephen F. Cohn of Lowell, Virginia Sugden and her companion Lisa Sullivan of Lowell and Marcia L. Sugden Miller of Amesbury; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Alexandra, Hannah, Emily, Sarah, Brooke, Anthony, Julia and James; her great grandchild, Sophia Anna and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sugden was the sister of the late Anthony, Domenic, George and Mary Marchetti, Carmella Mancini and Virginia Allen.

(Marchetti) Sugden, Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
