Anna Marie Bruno Poirier
Called by Jesus on January 15, 2025, after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer.
Anna Marie Bruno Poirier, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Paul L. Poirier for 52 wonderful years. Anna was a dedicated mother to Paul A. Poirier of Billerica, Julie Poirier Carter and her husband Eric of Leominster, and Jacquelyn Poirier Hayward and her husband Shawn of Peabody. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jessica Carter, Hailey Carter, Nick Carter, Lukas Poirier, Gavin Poirier, Devyn Hayward, and Rhys Hayward.
She is also survived by her beloved brother, Joey Bruno, and her sisters, Jean Bruno, Vickie Ortiz, and Ann Marie Moran. Anna was a loving aunt to many, many nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored.
Known for her warm heart, infectious laughter, and endless love for her family, Anna was also celebrated for her endearing sense of humor. She cherished moments spent hanging out with family and friends, often sharing a couple of cocktails and laughing out loud. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 20, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica. A Graveside Service will follow on Tuesday, January 21, at 11:30 a.m. at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
