Anna M. (Doherty) Kerry, age 85, beloved wife of Bruce A. Kerry died Wednesday July 1, 2026 at their home with her family by her side after a period of declining health.
She was born in Cambridge MA, May 10, 1941 daughter of the late Patrick and Anna (Collins) Doherty of Somerville. After marriage, Anna lived in Lynn with her husband before moving to Billerica 53 years ago.
Anna was an embroiderer for the New England Embroidery Company and in her spare time enjoyed quilting but most important to her was spending time with her family.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Steven Kerry and his wife Laurie of Billerica; two daughters, Deborah Wall and her husband Aaron of Richmond Hill GA; Kathleen McInerny and her husband Michael of Billerica and; two brothers, John Doherty and his wife Gabrielle of Plymouth and Daniel Doherty and his wife Joanne of Somerville as well as her beloved grandchildren, Megan, Kaitlin, Alyssa, Jade, Aiden, Caleb and Peyton and several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. followed by a Graveside Service at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
