Obituary for Ann Percuoco
Ann (Gilligan) Percuoco, age 69, beloved wife of Robert A. Percuoco died Wednesday at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in Winchester, April 15, 1952 a daughter of the late John and Rita (O’Loughlin) Gilligan and lived in Arlington and Lowell before moving to Billerica 31 years ago.
Ann had worked as a Staffing Coordinator at the former Symmes Hospital in Arlington and as an Administrative Assistant at Harvard Vanguard but her true joy came in raising her children and spending time with family and her beloved pets.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, John Percuoco of Billerica; one daughter, Becky Percuoco and her fiancé Casey Collier of Braintree; her siblings John Gilligan and his wife Terri of Grafton, Patty Lynch and her husband Richard of Tyngsboro, Bob Gilligan and his wife Sue of Londonderry, NH and Janet Gardner of Littleton; her brother-in-law, Rick Percuoco and his wife Diane of Billerica; her mother-in-law Dolores Percuoco of Woburn as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Michael Gilligan.
Funeral Tuesday from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd. Billerica at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Masks are required while indoors at both locations. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA, www.mspca.org or to the North East Animal Shelter, www.northeastanimalshelter.org
