Obituary for Ann M. Dogherty

Ann M. Dogherty – Age 80, wife of the late Paul F. Dogherty died peacefully Wednesday, March 1 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH.


She was born in Lowell, May 1, 1942, a daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Christenson) MacPherson and was raised in Billerica and later lived in Nashua and Windham.


Ann was employed as a Chief of Logistics for the U.S. Army Corps.of Engineers for 35 years prior to her retirement.


She is survived by her sons, Keith Dogherty and his wife Meghan of Revere and Kevin Dogherty and his wife Natalia Sychevsky of Windham, NH; her brother, Kenneth MacPherson of Billerica and her grandchildren, Ryan, Anna, Joseph and Erin.


Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Ann’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org Her burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica
