Ann E. Delorme, age 83, beloved wife of the late Donald A. Delorme died Monday, December 23 at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell after a period of declining health.
She was born in Charlestown, April 24, 1941 a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Donoghy) McDevitt and moved to Billerica in 1970.
Ann was a longtime nursing assistant for the Nashoba Nursing Service and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as trips to Foxwoods.
She will be remembered as a great mother and grandmother with a great sense of humor and a big heart.
Ann is survived by one daughter, Marianne Giordano of Palm Coast, FL; two sons, Kevin McCarthy of Pepperell and Daniel McCarthy of Nashua; two sisters, Mary Kirk of Eason and Patricia Gates of Londonderry, NH as well as 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late John F. McCarthy Jr. and sister of the late John McDevitt.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday, January 4 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1 – 4 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
