Anita L. (Moriaty) Dalton, age 72, died Thursday at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell with her family by her side.
She was born in Somerville, October 7, 1950 a daughter of Rita M. (Doyon) Moriarty of Burlington and the late Albert J. Moriaty and lived in Burlington and Billerica before moving to Chelmsford.
Anita was employed for 16 years at the Dynamics Research Corporation in their Government Collections and Accounting Department. Most important to her was going to Bayley's Campground in Maine, the cottage at "the Lake," decorating for the holidays, trips with her family to Rockport and Gloucester, a cup of Dunkin coffee, Sunday brunches, enjoyment with friends and spending time with her grandchildren.
Besides her mother she is survived by one daughter, Sharon Greenlaw and her late husband Kevin of Hudson, NH; two sons, Douglas Gustin and his wife Joanne of Tewksbury, Stephen Gustin and his wife Bridget of Pembroke, NH; one brother, Thomas Moriaty and his wife Mary Ellen of Lawrence; one sister, Mary Ann Coyne and her husband Daniel of Burlington as well as eight grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Kalei, Tammy, Keegan, Jake, Trinity, Dylan and Emily.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, January 11, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 12, at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford at 11 a.m. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
