Obituary for Angelo Airo-Farulla
Angelo Airo-Farulla – Age 75, died Thursday, February 20 at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford with his family by his side.
He was born in Camastra, Sicily on February 29, 1944, and was a long- time resident of Somerville. He was the son of the late Salvatore and Teresa Airo-Farulla of Palermo, Italy and was predeceased by his brother Giuseppe Airo-Farulla also of Palermo, Italy.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Cugno and her husband Daniel of Billerica, Antonina Petruzziello and her husband Luigi of Melbourne, Australia and Rosangela Roman and her husband Cory of Westford and their mother, Maria Airo-Farulla of Somerville as well as eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Michele Airo-Farulla of Medford and Carmelo Airo-Farulla of Switzerland; his sister, Francesca Pensalorto of NJ, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 29, at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
