Obituary for Andrew J. Shea

Andrew J. Shea, 35, of Billerica, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 27th at his home.


He was born in Winchester, on October 9, 1986, the son of Cindy (Carpenito) and James O’Grady and John "Jack" Shea III.


He was educated in the Billerica School System and graduated from Billerica High School with the class of 2005. He also furthered his education at Middlesex Community College.


Andrew loved to express himself through his art with unique pieces he gifted to those he loved. As an animal lover he was always quick to rescue any animal in need and had many beloved pets throughout his life. He enjoyed working in his garden where he could be found for hours on end. He will always be remembered for the joy and laughter he brought to those around him as a loving son, grandson, brother, and uncle.


He is survived by his mother, Cindy (Carpenito) O’Grady and his stepfather James O’Grady of Billerica, his father, John "Jack" Shea III of Deerfield Beach, FL, his grandmother Ann Carpenito of Billerica, his grandfather John Shea II of Boca Raton, FL, his two brothers, John “JJ” Shea IV and Aimee of Port St. Lucie, FL and Ryan O’Grady and his wife Alexis of Burlington, MA , two sisters, Jaimi Bello and her husband David of Newberry, FL. and Shannen O'Grady of Newton, NH, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. 


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his celebration of life on Thursday October 6th at the Billerica Country Club from 2 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the MSPCA- Angell at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/andrewshea
