Obituary for Alice McGuiness
BILLERICA – Alice (Kirylo) McGuiness, age 85, wife of the late James McGuiness and the late George Litwinsky died Sunday at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton. She was born in Cambridge, January 11, 1927, a daughter of the late George and Bronci (Leviski) Kirylo and lived in Cambridge prior to moving to Billerica in 1967. Mrs. McGuiness was an assembler for BASF for many years and had also worked for the Burlington Coat Factory in Billerica. She was also an active member of the AA community and a Parishioner of St. Theresa Church in Billerica. She is survived by two sons, John “Jack” Litwinsky of Boston and Thomas C. Litwinsky of Billerica. One brother, Alfred “Chunky” Kirylo of CA, one sister, June Vitti of Newton as well as 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Janice Marie Litwinsky and sister of the late Walter, Chester, Wally, John, Lillian and Jenny. Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
