Obituary for Alice M. Cushman
ALICE M. CUSHMAN - Age 81, wife of the late William F. Cushman died Sunday at the Putnam Farm Assisted Living in Danvers
She was born in Cambridge, May 2, 1928, the daughter of the late Robert Wilson and Regina (Fitzpatrick) Wilson and lived in Billerica, Lexington and Harwich Port.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Cushman was employed as a Supervisor for Sentry Insurance. She was the former President of the Guild of Harwich Artists.
Mrs. Cushman is survived by her 2 daughters, Eileen "Gussie" O'Shea of Peabody and Marie Ferguson of CT; her 2 sons, Randy Cushman of Billerica and Barry Cushman of PA; her 3 brothers, Robert Wilson Jr. of Billerica, James Wilson of NM and Paul Wilson of NH; her sister, Theresa Silliker of Essex and is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She was the grandmother of the late Kathryn Cushman and the great grandmother of the late Sophia Nuit and Mira Babylon Cushman-Rabe.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Guild of Harwich Artists, c/o Beth Bierbower, P.O. Box 382, Harwich Port, MA 02646. Interment will be held at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at the V.A. National Cemetery, Bourne.
