Alice C. (Poissant) Lausier, age 88, passed away on July 27, 2024, at Woburn Rehab and Nursing Center with family and friends by her side. For fifty years, she was the beloved wife of the late Henry R. Lausier, who passed on August 31, 2007.
She was born in Lowell on November 17, 1935, the daughter of the late Anita Poissant. Alice was a lifelong resident of Billerica and a communicant of the former St. Mary’s Church in Pinehurst and was a Eucharistic minister for many years in that parish. She retired from employment around 2001 from the former Sipex Company of Burlington, where she worked for many years.
Alice enjoyed her family, travelling, reading, dancing, bingo, and cheering on her beloved Red Sox. Alice also previously visited the Billerica Senior Center where she enjoyed socializing and participating in various activities. She was a past president of the Billerica Emblem Club No. 410 and one of the original charter members, and contributed to various community service organizations with the Emblem Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Lausier, and her husband Wayne LaCrosse, of Billerica. She was also Mémère to her much loved grandchildren Darren Lausier and Kamryn Lausier of Georgia and also survived by nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Kenneth P. Lausier of Billerica who passed on July 6, 2005.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Road, Billerica, MA from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday August 1, 2024, at St. Matthew Evangelist Parish at St. Andrew Church, 45 Talbot Ave., North Billerica, MA at 10:00 AM. Her burial will take place at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA.
