Obituary for Alice M. Gifford
Alice M. Gifford – Age 80, beloved wife of Arthur F. Gifford died Sunday in their home
surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Woburn, a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Forrestieri) Bevilacqua
and lived in Woburn for many years before moving to Billerica in 1959.
Some of Alice’s greatest joys were spending time with her five children and ten grandchildren.
Alice spent countless hours tending to her beautiful flower gardens. She also spent her
summers enjoying their lake house in Alton Bay, NH.
Along with her husband, Alice is survived by her daughters, Debra Gifford and Donna
DeDomenico and husband John of Billerica and Janine Gifford-Coope and her husband Shawn
of Wolfeboro, NH; and her sons, Barry Gifford and his wife Cynthia of Bedford, NH and Alan
Gifford of Weare, NH
Alice had ten loving grandchildren. Brett and Tori Gifford of Bedford NH; Shauna, Brendon and
Kelsey DeDomenico of Billerica; Kyla, Taylan, Garrett Gifford of Dunbarton, NH and Brent and
Mitchell Coope of Wolfeboro, NH. Alice also had four siblings, the late Charles Bevilacqua of Hamilton, OH and Albert Bevilacqua of Woburn and her late sister Alberta Galante of Woburn and late brother George Bevilacqua of Acushnet.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, December 16th at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home,
66 Concord Rd. BIllerica from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 17th at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd. Billerica at 11:00 am.
