Obituary for Alice M. DeBenedictis
Alice M. (Callahan) DeBenedictis – Age 74, beloved wife of Carmine F. DeBenedictis died unexpectedly Thursday at Lowell General Hospital – Saints Campus.
She was born in Malden, February 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert F. and Helen (Doherty) Callahan and foster daughter of Eleanor Santolucito. She lived in Billerica for most of her life.
Mrs. DeBenedictis was employed as a Quality Control Inspector for Computer Vision in Burlington for over ten years prior to her retirement.
Besides her husband, Mrs. DeBenedictis is survived by her daughters, Jan Clark and her husband Peter of Stow and Cathy Howell of Billerica; her sisters, Doris Mazola of Ipswich, Roberta Macarelli of Lynn and Janice Guarino of Revere. She was the grandmother of David and Matthew Howell and great grandmother of Bryce and Riley Howell and Kenzie LeClaire. She was the sister of the late Marie Mazza.

(Callahan) DeBenedictis, Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
