Alfred Vito, 75, of Billerica, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2025. He was the devoted husband of the late Michele Vito, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and family.
Born on September 10, 1949, in Everett, Massachusetts, Alfred was the son of Ralph and Eva (Stensland) Vito. A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by his sons, Michael and Alex Vito; his daughter-in-law, Jenny Vito; and his cherished grandchildren, Francesca and Dominic, who brought him endless joy and pride.
Alfred was a successful business owner in the pool service industry, building a respected name through years of hard work, dedication, and integrity. Outside of his professional life, Alfred had a passion for adventure—he was a skilled scuba diver and long-time member of the North Shore Dive Club, a dedicated martial artist, and a man of many talents. He found joy and creativity in photography and gardening, and at the age of 60, he even took on a starring role in a feature film.
Above all, Alfred found his greatest happiness in spending time with his family. His presence in their lives was constant, loving, and full of warmth. His memory will live on through the lessons he passed down, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave freely.
Visiting hours will be held at Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home in Billerica on Thursday, July 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will follow on Friday, July 18th at 12:30 PM at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Road, Billerica.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Alfred’s memory by spending time with those you love and living life with the same strength and generosity he showed every day.
