Obituary for Albert T. O'Connor Sr.
Albert T. O’Connor, age 95, beloved husband of 56 years of the late Alice P. (Alves) O’Connor died Tuesday January 4, at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Boston, Dec. 21, 1926 a son of the late John and Mary (Lynch) O’Connor and lived in Charlestown before moving to Billerica in 1960.
Mr. O’Connor served in the US Army during WW II, worked as a salesman and a technical order writer for a few local publishing companies, was well known as the Billerica High School girls soccer team’s “favorite fan” and enjoyed frequent trips for lunch to Johnson’s Restaurant in Groton or Ed’s Weenies in Littleton.
He is survived by one son Michael G. O’Connor of Salem, NH as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Albert T. O’Connor, Jr. of Billerica.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Arrangements under the care of the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, Billerica www.sweeneymemorialfh.com
