Obituary for Albert F. 'Mickey' Finn Jr.
Albert F. “Mickey” Finn Jr. – Age 88, husband of the late Mary T. (Shine) Finn died Wednesday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was born in Somerville, April 24, 1925, the son of the late Albert F. Finn Sr. and Maryellen (Grimes) Finn and was raised in Somerville before moving to Billerica in 1951. Mr. Finn served in the Army during WW II. He was employed as a Billerica Firefighter from 1951-84 and after his retirement, he worked as a Carpenter at McLean Hospital for 21 years. For many years he worked as an Architect and Builder in the Billerica area, and was a charter member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks. Mr. Finn is survived by his sons, Albert Finn III and his wife Sandi of Hope Mills, NC, his daughter, Dianne Chisholm and her husband Chris of Oakdale, CT, Lt. John Finn of Revere FD and his wife Nicci, and Stephen Finn and his wife Brenda of Dracut; his sisters, Rita Ortolani and Helen Keane of Somerville. He is predeceased by 7 sisters and one brother. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. FINN – Of Billerica, July 3, Albert F. “Mickey” Finn Jr. Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
