Obituary for Alan J. Perry

Alan J. Perry – Age 59, died peacefully Tuesday, August 23 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

He was born in Medford, April 22, 1963, a son of the late Manuel and Marguerite (Surrette) Perry and was raised in Billerica and later moved to Methuen and Lowell. Alan graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in 1982.
He was an avid music fan and vinyl collector, specifically the Beatles and Monkees, and took great pride in his record collection.

He is survived by his sister, Donna Sousa and her husband Kevin of Lowell; his brothers, Stephen Perry and his wife Lisa of Methuen, Scott Perry and his wife Danielle of Chelmsford and Jackie Perry of Lowell. He is also survived by his nieces, Jennifer Sousa of Lowell, Jillian Coe, and her husband Massi of Marblehead, Kaitlen Sousa of Boston, Madison Perry, and nephew Tyler Perry of Methuen, and Christian Perry and Alex Perry of Chelmsford. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, Danielle Wells, and her husband Christian, of Haverhill, Devin Sousa, Samantha Sousa, Emily Sousa, Meghan Gray, Molly Gray, and Aaliyah Boisvert, all of Lowell, and Brayden, Addison, and Ellorie Coe, all of Marblehead .

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Alan’s burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham. Memorial contributions may be made in Alan’s name to the American Diabetes Association, or the American Cancer Society,
