Obituary for Paul T. Murphy
Paul T. Murphy – Age 79, beloved husband of Barbara M. (McQueeney) Murphy died April 1st at their home.
He was born in Woburn, July 29, 1937, a son of the late Thomas and Alice (Gallagher) Murphy and lived in Woburn and Burlington before moving to Billerica in 1964. He was a graduate of Burlington High School and Saunders Electronics School.
Mr. Murphy was employed as an Engineering Aide at MACOM for over 40 years prior to his retirement in 1998. He was a life member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks. For many years, he was active in bowling and golf and had won many championships and trophies. He also enjoyed watching all the local sports teams.
Besides his wife, Mr. Murphy is survived by his children, Brenda Boyd of Woburn, Kevin Murphy of Billerica, Brian Murphy and his wife Karen of Chelmsford and Kerry Ann Murphy and her longtime companion Patrick Murphy of Billerica; his brothers, Robert Murphy and his wife Nancy of Windham, NH and David Murphy and his companion Paulette Robinson of Tewksbury; his sister, Nancy Truesdale and her husband David of Harwich; his sister-in-law, Judy Murphy of Burlington; his six grandchildren, Brian, Danny, Wade and Annie Murphy and Kayla and Jenna Boyd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was the brother of the late John “Jack” Murphy.

Murphy, Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
