Obituary for Paul E. Carson
BILLERICA – Paul E. Carson, Age 68, beloved husband of Susan W. (Weir) Carson died Sunday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born in Peabody, Sept 2, 1949, the son of the late Edward F. and Wanda M. (Agacinska) Carson and lived in Salem, MA before moving to Billerica in 1973. Besides his wife he is survived by one son Mark T. Carson of Billerica as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was also the brother of the late Betty Deschene.
Mr. Carson was an Electrical Engineer for the Reading Municipal Light Department for over 30 years and was an active member of Boy Scouts, Troop 30 in Billerica for many years. Paul experienced much joy in his role as master of ceremonies at Eagle Courts of Honor. He enjoyed working with his model trains and had been an avid hiker of the White Mountains. Paul enjoyed traveling to many countries and states, sometimes by train and steamboat. He always took many pictures to share with family and friends.
CARSON – Of Billerica, formerly of Salem, MA, Jan. 28. Paul E. Carson. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4 – 7 p.m at SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica will follow the funeral service.
