BILLERICA – Joseph S. Femia, beloved husband of the late Barbara (Mulcahy) Femia died unexpectedly Friday, Dec 1st at his home.
He was born in Boston, May 7, 1936. Son of the late Joseph and Lois (Day) Femia. Joe lived in Arlington before moving to Billerica almost 50 years ago.
Mr. Femia served in the US Army and was a Compositor for Nimrod Press.
He is survived by his five children, John Femia and his wife Bethaney of Billerica, Joan Capalino and her husband Rocco of Billerica, Joseph Femia and his longtime companion Michelle MacAulay of Nashua, Brian Femia and his wife Christina of Canton and Marianne Gallagher and her husband Bill all of Billerica; ten grandchildren, Michaela and Anthony Capalino, John Loring, Michael, Sarah, Maria, Champ and Lauren Femia, Olivia and Samantha Gallagher as well as one sister Tillie Gatt of Woburn. He was the brother of the late Jim Femia, Richard Femia and Joan Mizzoni.
FEMIA – Of Billerica, formerly of Arlington, died unexpectedly Dec. 1, Joseph S. Femia. At his request all services were held privately and at the convenience of his family.
