Obituary for Elizabeth A. Hunt
BILLERICA – Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Titterington) Hunt, beloved wife of Gerald E. Hunt, died Saturday at their home surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Lowell, September 11, 1937 a daughter of the late John and Evalyn A. (Gunther) Titterington and was a lifelong Billerica resident. Elizabeth was a graduate of Billerica Howe High School class of 1955.
Mrs. Hunt was a longtime member of the North Billerica Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and performed many secretarial duties. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and sewing but her greatest joy was in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Stephen G. Hunt and his wife Laura of Billerica; one daughter, Brenda J. Hunt of Billerica and her fiancé Richard Stecchi; one brother J. David Titterington of Billerica as well as two grandsons, Thomas Hunt and his wife Christina Minasian Hunt of NH and Brian Hunt of Billerica. She was also the grandmother of the late Daniel Hunt.
HUNT – Of Billerica, July 15, Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Titterington) Hunt. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at the North Billerica Baptist Church, 17 Colson St. Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the North Billerica Baptist Church, 17 Colson St. N. Billerica, MA 01862 or the Lowell General Hospital Cancer Center, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
