Obituary for Charles S. Morris
BILLERICA – Charles S. “Charlie” Morris, age 90, died Thursday Sept. 7, 2017 at Care One of Wilmington after a brief illness.

He was born in Boston, January 12, 1927 a son of the late James and Marie (Boudreau) Morris and was a lifelong Billerica resident.

Mr. Morris served in the Navy during WW II and also in the Air Force during the Korean War, was a self-employed contractor before working at the MA RMV in their Woburn Office and was a charter member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks.

He is survived by two brothers, Gwen Morris of Billerica and Whitey Morris and his wife Gloria of No. Chelmsford; one sister Beverly Merrill and her husband Russell of Chelmsford; one daughter Andrea Rigs of Tyngsboro and two grandchildren Alex and Christina; sister-in-law’s, Linda Morris, Mary Morris, Helen Morris and Gerry Morris. He was the brother of the late Stewart, Darrell, Courtney “Moose” and Harvey Morris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Among all the many friends Charlie had, he will be sadly missed by longtime friends, Mary Glavin and Dan Turco.

MORRIS – Of Billerica, Sept. 7, Charles S. “Charlie” Morris. A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. with a prayer service and military honors to take place at 6:30 p.m. All other services will be held privately and at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to "The Community Family, Inc.", 236 Broadway Street Lowell, MA 01854.
