Obituary for Alexander M. Coe
Alexander M. Coe – Age 24, died Friday, July 6 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH after a skateboarding accident at the family home in Alton, NH.
He was born in Lowell, beloved son of Peter F. and Pamela J. (Fox) Coe and has lived in Westford for most of his life. Alex graduated from Westford Academy in 2011 where he played football and later coached Youth Football in Westford. He then graduated from Stonehill College in 2015.
Alex was employed as a Building Based Educator for the Lawrence Public Schools having worked at the Hennessey School and was going to start Graduate School in the fall at the William James College to become a School Psychologist.
Besides his parents, Alex is survived by his beloved sister, Emily Coe of Boston; his grandparents, Eileen Fox of Billerica and Peter Coe of De Funiak Springs, FL; his aunts and uncles, Michael Coe of Palm Bay, FL, Maryellen and Brian Howe of Watertown, Patricia Fox and Linda Letourneau of Arlington, Ronald Fox and Brenda Sullivan of Billerica, Julie Fox Farmer and Randall Witts of N. Chelmsford and David and Jenny Fox of Nashua, NH; his cousins, Angela Farmer, Patrick Howe and his wife Andrea, Laura Howe, Julian, Rosa, Ian, Zachary and Billy Fox. He was the grandson of the late Ronald J. Fox and Maryann Ferre Coe.
The family is comforted to know Alex was an organ donor and will live on through this gift to others.
COE – Of Westford, by accident, Alexander M. Coe, A Memorial will be held Thursday at the Westford Regency, 219 Littleton Rd., Westford from 3 to 7 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 5 p.m.
Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alex’s name to the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club, 136 Waters St., Lawrence, MA 01841.
