Richard E. Malone – Age 66, beloved husband of Janice E. (DaDomo) Malone died Wednesday at the Lowell General Hospital. 

He was born in Boston, June 1, 1945, the son of the late Harry and Eileen (Harris) Malone and lived in Milton for many years before moving to Billerica 43 years ago. 

Mr. Malone was a self employed Computer Programmer for over 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Billerica and also served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was a former troop leader for the Boy Scouts Troop 55, Cubmaster of Pack 30 and a member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus. 

Besides his wife, Mr. Malone is survived by his sons, Richard Malone Jr. and his wife Michelle of Billerica, Thomas Malone and his wife Meghan of Braintree, Timothy Malone and his wife Carolyn of Chelmsford and Sean Malone and his wife Kathleen of Billerica; his daughters, Dana Reardon and her husband Ed of Billerica and Heather Matthews and her husband Michael of Chelmsford; his sister, Virginia Watson of E. Bridgewater and papa to, Jennifer, Caitlin, Anne, Joseph, Kendra, Camryn and Dylan Malone, Edward, Jonathan and Cole Reardon and James, Christopher and Sean Matthews.

Leonell Maurice – Age 86, died Sunday at the Sunbridge-Glenwood Nursing Home in Lowell. 

He was born in Montague, July 17, 1925, the son of the late Louis Lebonville-Maurice and Fredalise (Audet) Lebonville and once resided in California before moving back to the Lowell area. Mr. Maurice served in the Navy during WW II and was employed as a Machinist prior to his retirement. 

He is survived by his brother, Renaud Lebonville of NC; his sister, Louella Choitz of AZ and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Richard “Rusty” Maurice and brother of the late Marjorie LeClair, Lauretta Wasiak, Emory, Lillian and Muriel Lebonville.

She was born in Winchester, MA Nov. 2, 1974 a daughter of Walter and Nancy (Gibbs) Desmond of Westminster, MA and was a longtime Billerica resident before recently moving to Ayer. 

Mrs. Higgins was a manager at the Aaron Pallet Corp. in Fitchburg

Besides her husband  and parents she is survived by, one son, Charles Parker Holman Jr. of Ayer; one daughter, Caitlyn Holman of Ayer; one brother, Walter Desmond of Manchester, NH; three sisters, Cathy Barnett of Barrington, NH, Elizabeth Desmond and Karen Desmond both of Billerica; her nephew Collin Desmond as well as several other  nieces and nephews.

Peabody, age 69, beloved husband of Barbara (Rys) Peabody died unexpectedly Sunday at the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in FL.

He was born in Arlington, August 24, 1942 a son of the late Lester H. and Mary (Donovan) Peabody and has been a Billerica resident for over 50 years.

Mr. Peabody was a life long member of Carpenters Local #40 where he was Business Agent, Organizer before his retirement.

David was an avid Civil War enthusiast and one of his favorite past-times was to visit the many historical Civil War sites. As a former member of the Knights of Columbus, he believed in the principles of the organization: charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. He lived his life according to these principals and as such was proud to be an organ donor. Two people David was never able to meet will have a second chance at life because of his generous donation; his liver and one of his kidneys was donated to two deserving people.

Besides his wife he is survived by a sister-in-law, Margaret Peabody and brother –in-law Raymond Pelvelis, cousins Joan Lang and Kenneth Ahlin, and many nieces and nephews In addition, David was also extremely proud to be both a great-uncle and great-great- uncle. Lastly, he will be dearly missed by his beloved English Springer Spaniel, Murphy. He was the brother of the late Lester H. Peabody, Barbara Conroy and Elizabeth and Ruth Gearty.

 He was born in Somerville, February 19, 1930 the son of the late Hector and Marie (Peltier) Labossier and lived in Wakefield and Somerville before moving to Billerica in 1965.
 Mr. Labossier served in the US Navy and worked for Raytheon for 42 years as a Research Scientist in their Waltham and Lexington offices.
 He is survived by one son, William Labossier Jr. of Derry, NH; two daughters, Laura Hughes of Deerfield, NH and Linda Cassetta of Fitchburg. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
